Things to Remember
- If you are under 13, please get help from a parent, guardian or teacher to submit on your behalf.
- Participants can submit a project (8th June 2024) and be judged on only one project (either individual or group) at Coolest Projects Malaysia.
- You can enter as an individual or as a team (max. 3 people).
- All submissions must be in English or Bahasa Malaysia. A video with audio in Bahasa Malaysia is required to have integrated English subtitles.
- All project and video submissions will be accessible to the public. Make sure you don’t include any personal and sensitive information in your projects and videos.
- You must answer the three questions about your project. Please remember this when recording your submission videos and double-check this before you submit.
- The URLs of your visual programming projects (if you are participating in the Visual Programming category), web projects (if you are participating in the Web category), and video presentations are important. Make sure you have them ready when filling out the submission form! You also need to upload a programming code file URL for Games (if you are participating in the Games category) to help the judges understand your project better. Additionally, you may upload a programming code file URL for Hardware projects (if you are participating in the Hardware category) if you think it might help the judges understand your project better.
- Top entries for each category will be invited to showcase their projects to our panel of judges to determine the winning entries. This session will be conducted in-person at Spice Arena, Penang.
- Please ensure that your project is original and not copied from someone else’s work.
- All participants are reminded to refrain from using any inappropriate, violent and/or copyrighted content in their projects.
- Coolest Projects is open to unfinished projects: just submit your project and showcase the parts that are working. Coolest Projects is all about the experience and learning gained from participating and showcasing what you have created.
